💬 What do I do if my team doesn’t contact me?

Communication with students can be tricky at times. Please be patient, but if your team stops responding or doesn’t get in touch, feel free to reach out to a member of the Future Asset team for assistance.

💻 What happens if my team drops out?

While we’re fortunate to have a high completion rate, sometimes teams drop out due to the pressures students face (exams, part-time jobs, extracurriculars). If this happens, please get in touch—there are still opportunities available, like becoming a competition judge!

📧 What if a student emails me without including their teacher contact?

To ensure we follow safeguarding policies, the teacher link should always be included in communication. If a student reaches out directly, forward their email to the teacher and let them know.

❓ How much help should I give? Should I provide the answers?

Your role is to guide and support students, but it’s important they take the initiative to develop key skills like time management and critical thinking. Encourage them to find answers, rather than providing them.

🏢 Do I need to be an expert on the company my team is pitching?

No need to be an expert! However, it’s a good idea to stay informed on recent news, assist the team in validating sources, and help them navigate annual reports.

🤝 I’m not an investment manager or analyst—can I still be a coach?

Absolutely! If you work in finance and are passionate about what we do, you can make a great coach. As we like to say, if you know more than a 14-year-old, you’re good to go! Plus, we provide plenty of resources to help you along the way.

🏙️ Can I invite my team to visit my office?

Yes! Bringing students into your office is a fantastic way to showcase what you do and give them a firsthand look into the world of finance.

🎓 What can students do after participating in the competition?

Students automatically join our Alumni Community, gaining access to resources, events like our Annual Careers Insight Day, and online sessions to continue building their skills.

💼 How else can my company support Future Asset?

Is your company a sponsor or member firm of Future Asset? We rely on the financial support of firms and the opportunity to bring students into your offices to see the industry up close. Showing them what’s possible is a huge influence on their future!
