What's in store for Future Asset in 2025?

Through our exciting competitions, mentoring opportunities, and educational resources, we’re working to break down barriers and create a more diverse and inclusive industry.

January
- Our top finalists are announced and begin preparing for the live finals in March.
March
- 7th March – Our finalists will travel to Edinburgh to deliver their extended pitch to a panel of investors. This year finals are taking place in Martin Currie/ Franklin Templeton (Seniors) and Walter Scott (Juniors)
- 12th March – We are excited to host our first-ever talk with Emily Shipp at the Library of Mistakes. An interactive session exploring how young people imagine their future careers—and how these expectations align with the realities experienced by industry professionals. This workshop will bring together students, educators, and partners to reflect on career pathways, evolving skills, and what the investment industry needs from the next generation.
June - Alumnae Careers Insight Day 2025
- 11th June – We are excited to announce the return of our Careers Insight Day in June 2025! This inspiring event will welcome our alumnae for a day packed with talks, workshops, and networking opportunities with leading firms from across Scotland, all eager to discover new talent. At our last Insight Day, 14 firms from Edinburgh participated, alongside 9 inspiring speakers, including renowned broadcaster Vanessa Collingridge, who delivered an empowering session on building confidence. August / September - Competition Cycle Begins!
- Competition Registration Opens!!
- Competition Kick-offs Begin where we travel around Scotland meeting students who will take part in the Competition! Last year we held 10 events from Edinburgh to Inverness.
