Apprenticeships
Rathbones run an Apprentice Academy across our Edinburgh, Glasgow and London offices. Applications usually open in January, with roles commencing in September.  The Apprentice Academy is a 2 year rotational programme in Level 3 Business Administration, with a view to progressing in the business in areas such as investment management, financial planning or another you find you have an interest in.

Graduate Roles
Rathbones run a Graduate Academy across our Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast and London offices. Applications usually open in September, with roles commencing the following September.  This is a 2 year rotational programme  with graduates joining as a Trainee Investment Manager and studying the L4 Investment Advice Diploma initially, and moving on to Level 7 qualifications as they progress.

Internships
Rathbones run a 2 week work experience programme in August for a small number of penultimate year university students. Week 1 takes place in the Edinburgh office and week 2 takes place in the Glasgow office. Over the fortnight you will spend time with various teams learning about their roles and also work on a case study project with the support of a mentor. Applications open for 4 weeks in May, and can be found on our website.Â
Insight Days
Rathbones Virtual Insight Days are a great way to explore potential career paths and gain a deeper understanding of the financial industry. They can be a great introduction to financial services and Rathbones, often acting as a precursor to internships and work experience, providing students with a unique opportunity to gain insights into working at our company alongside valuable employability skills.  Attendees have the chance to meet members of our team, ranging from graduates to senior leadership, and learn about our company culture and values. You’ll also have the opportunity to network with other students and professionals in the field and gain valuable advice and guidance from experienced professionals.
