ESG and Video Pitch Announcement 

Each year, we present a range of alternative awards to recognise teams who, while they may not have reached the finals, have still produced exceptional work. Our ESG and Elevator Video Pitch awards celebrate the breadth of skills, creativity, and talent demonstrated by students across the Competition. 

This year, our ESG nominees were judged by Lauran Halpin, Director of Global Inclusion at the CFA Institute and ESG expert. Our ESG award winners were: 

• Edinburgh Academy (Junior Category) who pitched Roblox 

• Castlebrae Community High School, Edinburgh (Senior Category) who pitched Jet2 

Our Elevator Video Pitch nominees were judged by: 

Kirsty Alister, Creative Producer, Film and Photography Team at Baillie Gifford (Junior Category) and Malcolm Borthwick, Head of Marketing and Strategic Communications at Walter Scott & Partners (Senior Category) The winners were: 

• Banff Academy, Aberdeenshire (Junior Category) who pitched Linde 

• Millburn Academy, Highland (Senior Category) who pitched Uber 

All winning students will receive a prize along with special certificates to recognise and celebrate their outstanding achievements.
