Research, Pitch, WIN!

Our 10-week competition enables girls in Scottish schools to learn about investing, experience what its like to work in finance and gain valuable skills.

Teams learn about the world of investing whilst competing in our national competition for a chance to win up to £1000 for their school and up to £200 in vouchers per team member.

Competition Registration opens on 18th August and the Competition begins on 15th September. Submission deadline 5th December.

What's Involved?

Teams of S3-6 girls work with an investment professional, “Competition Coach,” to analyse a company and give their investment recommendations.  To buy or not to buy!

Pick a company from our Companies Crib Sheet and tell us:

  • What does the company do and why is it interesting?
  • Is the company profitable and will its profits continue to grow in future?
  • How is it improving its impact on the environment and society?
  • Do you think it will grow in profitability? Do you think it will grow in the next 5 years, and why?
  • Would you buy shares in the company, or not – and why?

What's in it for you?
